In May 2019 CNIM China purchase new machinery to supplement its industrial base, to gain added value and to improve responsiveness.
A large numerically controlled machining centre (gantry, 6m x 2.8m x 1.4m) will enable CNIM China to handle the machining of critical parts and to improve itsmanufacturing times.
After a successful joint project for smoke scrubbing equipment with LAB , CNIM China has purchased:
- a plasma cutting machine for cutting thick stainless steel parts
- a large rolling machine capable of handling 30mm-thick pieces with widths of up to 2.5m
This will enable CNIM China to carry out this operation in-house and to control theentire production chain.
The machines will be used on other projects, including the production of Sterilwaves, electromechanical systems for grinding hospital waste.
