This summer CNIM Industrial Systems China has obtained two major certifications for welding procedures, weld quality and overall management system: NF EN 1090 at level 4, the highest level, and EN ISO 3834.
EN 1090, level 4
TÜV Rheinland* has granted CNIM Industrial Systems China two certifications of compliance with European standards EN 1090 and EN ISO 3834. The first standard, EN 1090, relates to the manufacture of steel and aluminum structures & equipment and to a comprehensive quality management system.

" We have obtained the highest level of qualification: the level 4. The EN 1090 certification of our production system allows us to demonstrate our commitment to quality to our customers. We are invested in delivering high performance products. " says Raphaël Pellerin, Director of Operations at CNIM Industrial Systems China." CNIM China’s assessment for EN 1090 took place over 4 months. And we even ended up 2 weeks ahead of schedule. EN 1090 is indeed important for our industries." he explains.
The mobilized team to enforce the new certifications: Symon Shen (Quality manager), Dennis Zhao (Project Manager for nuclear projects), Richard Li (Production Manager), Roy Ru (International welding engineer).
EN ISO 3834
In addition to EN 1090, CNIM Industrial Systems has obtained EN ISO 3834 certification.TÜV Rheinland has certified that our organization also meets the requirements of ISO 3834 certification, which guarantees our industrial partners and customers with advanced welding techniques and highly skilled welders.
" In total, we have prepared around forty files to obtain the EN ISO 3834 standard. This is a guarantee of the quality of our products and of external recognition of our welding expertise. " explains Raphaël Pellerin." The next equipment that will be manufactured in our workshops and conforming to EN ISO 3834 will be for the EPR Hinkley Point, the nuclear power plant currently under construction in the UK. "
The EN ISO 3834 standard guarantees our customers that our products are manufactured to high quality requirements in welding.
